Record solidarity for charity auction Yesterday evening, May 8th, the French equestrian community mobilized en masse on The Auction by Arqana's online auction platform. More than 560 bidders fought until 11:30pm to acquire their "Treasures of Champions" and collect 36,238 Euros to benefit the emergency fund launched by the French Equestrian Federation in support of riding schools and pony clubs hit by the Covid-19 crisis.

Bidders from 14 countries boost up The Auction's online sale of 16 world class show jumping embryos Act III of The Auction by Arqana concludes with great success as bidders from America, Canada, the UAE, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, the UK, Ireland, Croatia, Slovenia, Russia, Hungary, Italy and Spain took part in the online sale. The Auction’s second embryo sale which offered 16 top class embryos representing the best European bloodlines, ended with an average price €24,300, for the 10 lots to change hands (63%), close to matching last year's record breaking figure of €26,000.

The Auction by Arqana “Yearlings & Performers” opens a new chapter in the sporthorse trade Bringing together Yearlings and Performers of a quality never seen before at auction, “The Auction by Arqana, Act II” proved a commanding success under the mighty dome of the Cirque d'Hiver in Paris. Defying the transport strike and taking advantage of the ability to bid online, all the big names of show jumping attended this new kind of event, and for once it was not at a competition held over obstacles, but around a sales arena that they clashed. The 9 horses sold (out of 18 presented, i.e. 50%) achieved an aggregate of 1.952 million Euros, a sign of the strong interest that the selection had aroused among professionals around the world. The owners who had the final say on these future champions are of course French and Belgian, but also American, Dutch etc.
